I keep coming back to this video as a great example of empathy building. What the Cleveland Clinic has done that is so unusual is to highlight the back story of everyone in their world. It's not just about humanizing patients, its about humanizing caretakers, families, building staff…everyone. And it highlights issues in their lives outside of their health that impact their expectations and experiences.
